It gets much harder as time goes on. Be happy you can travel so much now, before you have to worry about your daughter running around (and away), throwing crazy tantrums., etc. We went to Korea, Germany and Turkey within the first 1.5 years of my son’s life with no problem at all. So glad we did!

I started traveling with my daughters when they were weeks old. Now 7 and 10 they travel well, enjoy it and have an understanding and appreciation of the world beyond their years.

I wish I had that kind of gusto. I hope my sweet boy takes more after his father as he loves the idea of travel and new experiences. I had always hoped that I could travel but when it comes down to it, I wimp out, get cranky and dread the adventure only to count the days of getting back home. For now, I will live vicariously through your adventures and hope that one day I might be able to get over anxiety when it comes to picking up and going. What a great gift to your lovely Vera. :-)
